About Final Fantasy Iv - Easy Type
Final Fantasy IV: Easy Type came out in 1991 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Square. It was part of that early wave of SNES games that showed what the console could do with its colors and sound. This version was specifically made for a smoother experience compared to the original.
You control Cecil, a dark knight, leading a party of characters through a world of castles, caves, and airships. Your main goal is to stop the sorcerer Golbez from gathering powerful crystals. You explore the world screen by screen, engage in turn based battles where you input commands for each character, and delve into multi level dungeons filled with puzzles and treasure. The Easy Type version is noticeably more forgiving, with a reduced difficulty that makes the journey less punishing.
