Well, someone did—and they made Tricky Jump Challenge, a brutal but fair ROM hack that turns the original game’s platforming into a precision nightmare. The levels look familiar at first, but then you realize jumps are tighter, pits are sneakier, and even basic enemies feel like they’re out for blood.

First time I booted it up, I lost like five lives before even reaching the first midpoint. The physics are tweaked just enough to mess with your muscle memory, so you’ll land in lava a lot before getting the timing down.
