Touhou Mario - Imperishable Night Game

Touhou Mario - Imperishable Night SNES is this weirdly charming mashup where someone decided Mario should dodge bullet hell patterns instead of Goombas. You jump around like usual, but instead of stomping enemies, you're weaving through waves of glowing projectiles straight out of a Touhou game. The controls feel a little stiff at first—like Mario's wearing lead boots—but once you get used to it, dodging those colorful death spirals becomes weirdly satisfying.
The sprites are surprisingly decent for a fan-made SNES romhack, with Mario's overalls clashing hilariously against the danmaku chaos. I kept expecting fire flowers to show up, but nope—just pure survival. The music's a chiptune remix of Touhou tracks that somehow works better than it should. If you're into "wait, why is this actually fun?" kind of hacks, give it a shot. Just don't blame me when you get wrecked by the first boss's rainbow bullet spam.
