Top Gear Pocket 2 is one of those sneaky-good racers on the Game Boy Color—it looks simple at first, but the handling actually feels sharp once you get used to it. You’ve got a handful of tracks (some with tight turns that’ll wreck you if you don’t brake in time) and a few different cars that handle totally differently. The music’s got that classic Top Gear vibe too, all upbeat and slightly cheesy in the best way.
It’s Japan-only, but menus are easy enough to figure out, and the racing speaks for itself. Weirdly satisfying for a tiny GBC cart. If you’re into retro racers, this one’s a hidden gem.
