The Return To Super Mario World Game

Okay, so The Return to Super Mario World is basically someone’s love letter to the original SNES classic—but with a twist. It’s a fan-made hack that throws in new levels, tougher challenges, and some sneaky secrets that’ll make you double-take if you’ve played the original to death.
You start off in a familiar-looking Mushroom Kingdom, but pretty soon you’re jumping into levels that feel just slightly… off. Like, why is there a Piranha Plant there? And since when does Yoshi do that? It’s got that same tight platforming you remember, but with enough surprises to keep you on your toes. Some of the later stages get brutal, though—fair warning.
If you’ve ever thought "I wish SMW had just a few more levels," this is basically that. Just don’t expect Nintendo polish—it’s clearly a passion project, quirks and all.
