Man, Hyperstone Heist was my jam back in the day. It's basically the Turtles' Genesis debut, and they nailed it—fast-paced beat 'em up action with that classic arcade feel. You pick your favorite turtle (Leo forever, fight me), smash through waves of Foot Clan goons, and take on Shredder in a slightly tweaked story compared to the arcade version.
The levels feel fresh if you've played the arcade game, with some new layouts and a couple of surprise bosses. The music? Absolute bangers—that sewer theme still gets stuck in my head. It's not as flashy as Turtles in Time, but the tighter screen and faster pacing make fights feel way more intense. Just watch out for those cheap hits from the purple ninjas.
Still holds up as one of the best TMNT games ever, especially if you've got a buddy for couch co-op chaos.
