Super Mario World (e) Game

Super Mario World is one of those SNES classics that just never gets old. You start off in the familiar Mushroom Kingdom, but this time Yoshi’s there from the get-go—riding that little green guy feels like a game-changer after the NES days. The levels are packed with secrets, like hidden exits and those tricky Star Road paths. I still remember the first time I stumbled into the secret world behind the normal map.
The controls are buttery smooth, and the cape power-up? Way more fun than the raccoon tail from Mario 3. The music’s catchy as hell too—that underground theme still pops into my head randomly. It’s the kind of game where you’ll replay levels just to find every nook and cranny you missed the first time.
