Super Mario World 2 - Kameks Revenge Game

Super Mario World 2: Kamek’s Revenge is one of those fan-made hacks that actually feels like it could’ve been a real SNES sequel. Kamek’s messing with everything—expect familiar levels twisted with new enemy placements, weird power-ups, and some brutal platforming sections. The first time I played, I got wrecked by a surprise Piranha Plant in a spot where it definitely wasn’t supposed to be.
It’s not just cheap difficulty, though. The level design’s clever, with hidden exits and alternate paths that make you rethink how you approach Mario games. And yeah, you still get Yoshi, but good luck keeping him alive when Kamek’s throwing curveballs. If you’ve burned through the original SMW and want something fresh without straying too far from the classics, this one’s worth a shot.
