Super Mario World - The Variety Of Chance Game

Super Mario World - The Variety of Chance is one of those weird, fun ROM hacks that remixes the original game into something fresh. Instead of the usual predictable levels, you get randomized power-ups, enemies, and even stage layouts—so one run might toss you a Fire Flower right off the bat, and the next might throw Hammer Bros at you before you even hit the first pipe. It keeps you on your toes.
Some of the changes are subtle, others completely chaotic. I remember jumping into a level expecting the usual Koopas and instead running into a swarm of Boos. The randomness isn’t always balanced (good luck if the game decides to flood a level with Lakitus), but that’s part of the charm. If you’ve played the original to death, this is a great way to make it feel unpredictable again.
Just don’t get too attached to your cape feathers—they might not be where you remember them.
