Super Mario World - Puzzle Of Doom Game

Super Mario World - Puzzle of Doom is one of those weird, unofficial ROM hacks that turns Mario into a completely different game. Instead of running and jumping, you're solving tile-matching puzzles—like a mix between Tetris and a sliding block puzzle, but with Mario sprites. It's janky in that charming SNES homebrew way, where the controls feel just slightly off, but you keep playing anyway because it's so bizarrely addictive.
You start with a grid of blocks featuring classic Mario enemies—Goombas, Koopas, that sort of thing—and you've gotta match them to clear the screen. The music is still the same Super Mario World tunes, which makes the whole thing feel even weirder. Not gonna lie, it took me a few tries to figure out the mechanics, but once it clicks, you’ll be sliding blocks around like some kind of Mushroom Kingdom puzzle master.
Definitely not what you’d expect from a Mario game, but that’s part of the fun.
