Ever wish Super Mario World had more of that weird, experimental ROM hack energy? Legend of Randorland 2 delivers—it’s a fan-made SNES mod that throws in new levels, enemies, and some seriously janky (but charming) sprite edits. You’ll recognize the core mechanics, but the level design gets wild fast—think awkwardly placed pits, bizarre power-ups, and at least one section where the screen just… stops scrolling properly. Classic demo weirdness.

It’s rough around the edges, but that’s half the fun. The first level alone has a floating Bowser head for no reason and a Yoshi that might clip through a wall if you jump wrong.
