Ever played Super Mario World and thought, "Man, I wish there was more of this?" Well, Kamek's Island is basically that—a fan-made ROM hack that throws you into a whole new set of levels with the same classic SMW feel. You’ve got Yoshi, the cape, all the usual power-ups, but the level designs get way more creative. Some of these stages will make you stop and think for a second, which is rare for a Mario game.

First few minutes in, you’ll notice the difficulty’s a notch above the original—not brutal, but you can’t just breeze through. The music’s remixed too, so it’s familiar but fresh.
