Super Mario World - Kamek And The Shroobs Game

Ever wondered what would happen if the Shroobs from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time invaded Super Mario World? This romhack throws them into the mix alongside Kamek, turning Yoshi’s Island into a weird, chaotic mash-up. The first thing you’ll notice is how the overworld map gets rearranged—some familiar levels are gone, replaced with new ones that force you to rethink your usual SMW strats.
It’s still Super Mario World at its core, but the Shroob enemies add this weirdly unsettling vibe, like someone dropped an alien invasion into your childhood. And Kamek? He’s everywhere, casting spells and generally being a nuisance. The difficulty spikes in places, especially when those little mushroom freaks start swarming. Not gonna lie, I died way more than I expected in the first few levels.
If you’ve played SMW to death and want something that feels familiar but just… off, this is a solid pick. Just don’t expect a walk in the park.
