Super Mario Starlight Remix Game

Super Mario Starlight Remix is one of those fan-made SNES hacks that actually feels like a lost Mario game—just with way more chaos. You’ve got the classic run-and-jump feel, but the levels twist in weird directions, throwing in custom enemies and power-ups you won’t see in the originals. The first time I played, I got wrecked by a giant boo that wasn’t even supposed to be there. Classic Mario physics, though, so it still feels right.
Some stages are brutal, others are just vibes—like that one level where everything’s neon and the music’s slowed down. You’ll recognize bits from other Mario games mashed together, but it’s not just nostalgia bait. The remixed tunes alone make it worth a play if you’ve burned through the official SNES stuff already. Just don’t expect Nintendo polish—this is someone’s passion project turned up to 11.
