Super Mario Odyssey - Demo 2 Game

Okay, so this is a weird one—someone actually made a Super Mario Odyssey demo for the SNES. Like, yeah, the Switch game, but crammed into 16-bit. It’s janky in that charming fan-project way, with blocky sprites trying to mimic Mario’s hat-throwing moves. You’ve got tiny open-ish areas to explore, some coins to grab, and a few enemies that definitely weren’t in the original SNES library.
Controls feel a little stiff (because, y’know, SNES), but it’s kinda cool seeing Odyssey’s mechanics reinterpreted for older hardware. Don’t expect polish—this is more of a "what if?" curiosity than a full game. Still, if you’re into ROM hacks or Mario’s weird history of fan mods, it’s a neat five-minute distraction.
