Super Mario Joybush Road Game

Oh man, Super Mario Joybush Road—that takes me back. It's one of those weird unofficial Mario hacks for SNES that somehow feels both familiar and totally off. You're running through classic Mario-style levels, but everything's just a little... wrong. The colors are weird, the jumps feel floaty, and sometimes enemies pop up where they shouldn't.
First time I played it, I thought my cartridge was glitching until I realized the whole game's like this. There's something oddly charming about it though—like finding a bootleg toy at a flea market. You'll recognize the mechanics, but the level designs keep throwing curveballs at you.
Definitely not for purists, but if you've played the official Mario games to death and want something bizarre, this might scratch that itch. Just don't expect Nintendo polish.
