Super Mario Brothers 2 Deluxe Game

Super Mario Bros. 2 Deluxe is one of those weird, wonderful SNES gems that flips the usual Mario formula on its head. Instead of stomping Goombas, you're plucking veggies from the ground and chucking them at enemies—which sounds ridiculous until you realize how satisfying it is to yeet a turnip at Birdo. The four characters actually feel different this time, too: Luigi’s flutter jump is borderline broken, and Princess can float for days.
It’s got that classic SNES charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and music that’ll stick in your head for weeks. The levels are packed with little secrets, like hidden doors or warp zones tucked behind suspicious-looking bushes. And yeah, it’s still weird that it’s technically a reskin of Doki Doki Panic, but who cares when it’s this much fun? Mario’s weirdest adventure holds up surprisingly well.
