Super Mario Bros. 5 Reborn Game

Okay, so Super Mario Bros. 5 Reborn isn’t actually an official Nintendo release—it’s a fan-made SNES romhack, but man, it feels like the real deal. The physics are spot-on, like classic Mario, but with new levels that throw in some sneaky twists. You’ll recognize the usual power-ups, but there are a few surprises—like a weirdly overpowered raccoon tail that sends you spinning through enemies way too easily.
First few minutes in, you’re hopping on goombas like normal, then suddenly the level design gets creative—hidden warp pipes in places you wouldn’t expect, and some of the platforming gets brutal if you’re not careful. The music’s a mix of remixed classics and original chiptune stuff that somehow doesn’t feel out of place.
If you’ve burned through the official Mario games and want something that feels fresh but still nails that SNES vibe, this is a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on that one spike trap section for half an hour.
