Pac-man 2 - The New Adventures Game

Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures is one of those weird SNES games that doesn’t play like the arcade classic at all—instead, it’s this bizarre mix of point-and-click adventure and light platforming. You don’t even control Pac-Man directly most of the time; you just nudge him along with a slingshot while he stumbles around like a confused little yellow guy. It’s oddly charming, though, with these big, colorful cartoon cutscenes and some genuinely funny moments (like when Pac-Man gets chased by a ghost and just flails his arms in panic).
Fair warning: the controls take some getting used to, and half the time you’re just watching Pac-Man do his own thing while you try to keep him from walking into danger. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about it once you get the hang of the chaos. The music’s got that classic SNES charm too—peppy and nostalgic.
Definitely not what you’d expect from a Pac-Man sequel, but that’s what makes it interesting.
