Ever played Pac-Man but wished it had a little more... Japanese flair? That's basically Hello! Pac-Man on SNES. It's the classic maze-chomping action you know, but with some weirdly charming (and very '90s) cutscenes where Pac-Man talks in this high-pitched voice. Like, full-on anime-style reactions when he eats a power pellet.

The mazes feel familiar at first, but then you notice the colors are brighter, the ghosts move just a tiny bit differently, and there's this weird bonus stage where you bounce around collecting fruit. It's not revolutionary, but if you've burned through the original a hundred times, the small changes keep it interesting. Also, the music somehow manages to be both nostalgic and completely new at the same time.

Definitely one of those "if you see it in a ROM collection, give it a spin" kind of games.
