Mario X World - Second Editi Game

Mario X World - Second Edition is one of those SNES romhacks that actually feels like a proper sequel—not just some slapped-together level pack. The first thing you'll notice is how tight the controls are, almost like the original Super Mario World but with just a little extra weight to jumps. The levels start off familiar, but then they throw in these weird little twists, like hidden paths that loop back on themselves or enemies placed in spots that force you to rethink your approach.
And the music? Some tracks are remixed versions of classic SMW tunes, but there are a few original bits that actually slap. I got stuck on one of the later ghost houses for way too long because the puzzles are legit tricky—none of that "hit the obvious block" nonsense. If you've burned through the original and want something that feels fresh but still plays like the Mario you know, this is worth a shot. Just don't blame me when you lose an hour to that one autoscroll level.
