Gywall's Smw! (super Mario World) Game

Gywall's SMW! is basically a romhack of Super Mario World, but with some wild twists. You still get that classic SMW feel—Yoshi, cape feathers, all the good stuff—but the levels are completely redone, and some of them get pretty brutal. Like, expect to die a lot in the first few minutes if you're not careful.
The overworld map looks familiar at first glance, but then you notice the paths are different, and suddenly you're in a level full of weird enemy placements or tricky platforming sections. It's not just harder, though—some of the new power-ups and secrets are actually pretty clever. Found a hidden block early on that gave me a fire flower instead of the usual mushroom, which saved me from an obnoxious piranha plant trap later.
If you've played SMW to death and want something fresh without losing that nostalgic SNES charm, this is a solid pick. Just don't blame me when you get stuck on some of the later levels.
