Doraemon No Study Boy : Gakushuu Kanji Game Game

Okay, so this is one of those weird little Japan-only Game Boy Color games starring Doraemon—you know, the blue robot cat? It's basically a kanji study tool disguised as a game, which honestly makes more sense when you realize how many Japanese kids grew up with edutainment titles like this.
You get these multiple-choice kanji quizzes where Nobita (the perpetually failing kid from the series) has to answer questions, and Doraemon pops in with gadgets when you get stuck. The pixel art's cute, and there's something oddly satisfying about watching the little animations when you pick the right answer. Not gonna lie, my first attempt was rough—turns out third-grade kanji are harder than they look.
If you're learning Japanese or just love obscure GBC oddities, it's a neat time capsule. Just don't expect an action-packed adventure.
