Bonni's Quest is one of those SMW hacks that actually feels like a proper expansion—not just a reskin. You play as this little fox character (Bonni, obviously) who moves way faster than Mario, with a dash attack that sends you zipping through levels. The first stage throws you right into it: tight jumps, hidden paths, and these weird floating platforms that disappear if you stand on them too long.

Demo 2’s got four full levels, and they ramp up fast. By the second stage, you’re already dodging fireballs while trying to time your dashes just right. The sprite work’s clean, and the music’s a mix of remixed SMW tracks and some original stuff that fits surprisingly well. If you’re into SMW romhacks, this one’s got enough polish to feel worth your time.
