About Bomberman (usa, Europe)
Bomberman GB came out in 1998 for the Game Boy, developed by Hudson Soft. It was one of many puzzle action games on the handheld, a portable version of a familiar series that fit right in your pocket.
You control Bomberman, navigating him through a series of single screen rooms. Your main goal is to find the exit in each stage, which involves placing bombs to blow up obstacles and enemies. The core mechanics are laying bombs to clear paths and collecting power ups that increase your blast radius or let you lay more bombs at once. The pacing is methodical; you have to think about bomb placement to avoid trapping yourself while also outmaneuvering the enemies that roam each area.
