Zoop on GB is one of those Game Boy puzzlers that looks simple until you actually play it. You’re staring down this grid where colored shapes crawl toward you, and you’ve got to match and zap them before they hit the bottom. Sounds easy, right? Then the speed picks up, and suddenly you’re sweating over whether to go for the red triangle or the blue square.

The colors pop nicely for a Game Boy screen, and the music has that classic bleep-bloop urgency that makes you lean in closer. I lost my first few rounds embarrassingly fast—turns out spamming the buttons doesn’t work here. You’ve gotta plan a move or two ahead, or you’ll get buried fast.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll mutter “one more try” at 2 AM. If you like your puzzles with a side of panic, this one’s a solid pick.
