If you grew up with Yu Yu Hakusho, this Game Boy adaptation is pure nostalgia fuel. You pick from Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama, or Kuwabara—each with their own moveset—and brawl through demon-packed stages. Hiei’s Dragon of the Darkness Flame feels ridiculously overpowered (in a good way), while Kuwabara’s Spirit Sword has this weirdly satisfying reach.
The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed—you’ll recognize Yusuke’s cocky grin mid-punch. The levels are short and chaotic, with bosses like Younger Toguro showing up to wreck you if you button-mash too much. It’s not deep, but nailing a perfect combo with Kurama’s rose whip never gets old.
Honestly, the music alone will have you humming the anime’s theme for days.
