Ever wanted to play as a kid version of Indiana Jones? This NES game lets you do just that—though don’t expect the whip-cracking, boulder-dodging action of the movies. It’s more of a straightforward platformer where you jump over pits, dodge snakes, and occasionally solve simple puzzles. The sprites are tiny, and the controls feel a little stiff, but there’s something charming about seeing Indy as a scrawny adventurer-in-training.
Based on the old TV show, the levels take you through jungles, caves, and even a circus at one point. The music’s decent for an NES title, though it loops a lot. Honestly, it’s not the best platformer out there, but if you’re a die-hard Indy fan, it’s a neat little piece of nostalgia. Just don’t go in expecting Temple of Doom-level excitement.
