Man, Yogi Bear on Game Boy takes me back. You start off sneaking around Jellystone Park, dodging Ranger Smith while trying to swipe those picnic baskets—just like the old cartoon. The controls are simple, but some of those jumps between tree branches get surprisingly tricky.
What I love is how it nails that Saturday morning vibe with the chunky pixel art and those bouncy little tunes. Boo Boo shows up to help sometimes, and there’s this one level where you’ve gotta outrun a swarm of bees after, y’know, accidentally kicking their hive. Classic Yogi.
It’s not the hardest platformer out there, but there’s something satisfying about pulling off a perfect basket heist while the ranger’s just a step behind. If you grew up with the show, it’s pure nostalgia in cartridge form.
