World Super Tennis (japan) Game

World Super Tennis is one of those NES sports games that somehow nails the simple joy of smacking a ball back and forth. It's got that classic 8-bit charm—blocky players, a weirdly satisfying "thok" sound when you hit a perfect shot, and courts that look like someone colored them in with crayons.
You pick from a handful of countries (Japan, USA, etc.), each with slightly different stats—I always went for the USA player because his serve felt beefier. The AI starts off easy but gets sneaky fast, especially when they start lobbing shots just out of reach. Doubles mode is where it gets chaotic, with all four players scrambling around like ants on a sugar rush.
It's not flashy, but there's something weirdly addictive about the rhythm of it. You'll lose a match, swear you're done, then immediately hit "play again" because that last point was totally bullcrap and you need revenge. A solid time-killer if you're into old-school sports games.
