World Cup 98 on Game Boy is exactly what it sounds like—a pocket-sized version of the official FIFA tournament. You get all 32 national teams (Brazil was my go-to, obviously) and every stadium from the real event, which is pretty wild for a tiny cartridge. The controls take a second to get used to—passing feels a little stiff at first—but once you adjust, it’s surprisingly fun for quick matches. Just don’t expect the same depth as the console versions.
Perfect for killing time on a bus ride or pretending you’re in France ‘98 without leaving your couch.
