Wizards & Warriors 2 on NES throws you right back into Kuros' boots—this time, Malkil’s messing with the four elements, and guess who has to clean it up? Each elemental realm splits into two parts: first, you hunt down a golden artifact for the local Animal King (no idea why they trust you, but hey), then you scramble to find the one magic spell that actually lets you hurt the boss. Forget button-mashing—no spell, no victory.
Gems and keys are back, but now you can actually hoard keys like a dragon with treasure, using them on any chest you stumble across. Shops pop up in levels, selling weapons, spells, and… questionable gambling games. Bet on skulls hiding under cups if you’re feeling lucky (or reckless). The new magic spells add some fun chaos—some are always handy, others are weirdly situational, like finding out mid-fight that "Turn Into a Fish" only works near water. Classic NES logic.
Oh, and don’t lose those Iron Sword pieces—Malkil’s waiting on Icefire Mountain, and he’s not gonna stab himself.
