About Winter Gold (europe)
Winter Gold came out for the Game Boy in 1996, published by Nintendo. It was part of that era when portable games were starting to offer more complex sports simulations, moving beyond simple arcade action. This one tried to capture the feel of winter sports on the small screen.
You control an athlete competing in various winter events like ski jumping and bobsled. The main goal is to win medals by performing better than the computer opponents.
