Okay, so Who Framed Roger Rabbit on Game Boy is one of those weird little licensed games that actually tries to do something different. You start off running around Toontown in this sort of side-scrolling adventure mode—bumping into weird cartoon characters, dodging falling anvils, the usual. Then out of nowhere, it switches to this top-down driving section where you're weaving through traffic in Benny the Cab. Feels janky at first, but in that charming early Game Boy way.

It's got that classic "throw everything at the wall" design where one minute you're platforming, the next you're solving simple puzzles or fist-fighting weasels in a bar. The sprite work's surprisingly decent for the hardware, though Roger's voice bubbles are just random symbols—you kinda have to imagine the squeaky voice yourself. Not gonna lie, the driving controls take some getting used to, but crashing into a pile of tires and watching the cab go spinning never gets old.

Definitely one of the better movie tie-ins from that era, if only because it actually feels like the chaotic energy of the film.
