Wheel of Fortune Junior Edition on NES is basically the same game as the original, just with kid-friendly puzzles and prizes. No cars here—think more like trips to amusement parks or toys. The wheel’s a little basic (top dollar is always $1,000, no surprises), and the third round always turns into a speed round with a final spin. Bonus round’s the same too—pick five consonants and a vowel, no free R/S/T/L/N/E like in later versions.
Weirdly, the Family Edition ditched the iconic theme song, which feels like a crime. Also, if you’re playing with three people, the third player’s stuck sharing the first controller—no Four Score support here. It’s a stripped-down but still fun take on the show, especially if you grew up with it.
