Oh man, We're Back! - A Dinosaur's Story takes me straight back to my Game Boy days. It's based on that weirdly charming '90s movie about dinosaurs brought to modern New York, and the game nails that same mix of adventure and chaos.
You start off controlling Rex, the T-Rex, running through city streets dodging obstacles and chomping on food (because of course a dinosaur's gotta eat). The controls are simple but kinda janky in that classic Game Boy way—you'll miss jumps at first, but once you get the timing down, it's weirdly satisfying. The pixel art holds up too, with these cute little dino sprites and surprisingly detailed city backgrounds for the hardware.
There are a few other playable dinos later, each with their own quirks, but Rex is the star. Just don't expect a deep story—it's mostly about surviving hazards and collecting eggs (because video game logic). If you're into retro platformers or just love dinosaurs acting ridiculous in urban settings, this one's a fun little time capsule.
