About Wayne's World
Wayne's World for the NES came out in 1993, published by THQ. It was part of that wave of licensed games on the system, trying to capture the movie's vibe in an 8-bit format.
You control Wayne, and sometimes Garth, moving screen by screen through side-scrolling levels. Your main goal is to save your public access show from being bought out. You punch and jump on enemies like ninjas and spider-whiffs, collect donuts for health, and drive the Mirth-Mobile in some stages. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise platforming required. It feels like a chaotic, sometimes frustrating trip through the movie's most random moments.
