About Wayne's World
Wayne's World came out for the Game Boy in 1993, published by THQ. It was part of that wave of games based on movies and TV shows that were everywhere on the handheld at the time. You did not expect a deep story, just a chance to run around as Wayne and Garth.
You control Wayne, and sometimes Garth, moving screen by screen through suburban streets and other locations. The main goal is to find your stolen cable converter by fighting off foes with a yo-yo and collecting cassette tapes. You explore different areas, jump across platforms, and enter buildings that act like small dungeons. The game moves at a quick pace, but some jumps require precise timing, and enemies respawn quickly. It feels like a straightforward, slightly frantic scramble from one screen to the next.
