Wayne Gretzky’s 3D Hockey on N64 is pure arcade chaos—less about realism, more about slamming opponents into the boards and pulling off ridiculous moves. The controls are simple enough that you’ll be scoring within seconds, but the real fun comes from the over-the-top hits and that satisfying crunch when you body-check someone into next week.
Graphics were solid for the time, with chunky 3D players that somehow still feel smooth when you’re racing down the ice. And yeah, the multiplayer is where it shines—nothing beats trash-talking your friend after stealing the puck and scoring with a slap shot from halfway across the rink. Just don’t expect NHL simulation-level depth; this is hockey turned up to 11.
If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, fast-paced sports game with a bit of that old-school arcade charm, this one still holds up surprisingly well.
