Water World Game

Water World on Game Boy is one of those weird little underwater adventures that sticks with you. You start off in this murky blue-green pixel ocean, and at first it’s just you, some bubbles, and whatever’s lurking in the dark. The controls are simple—swim around, avoid jellyfish (they sting, obviously), and grab keys to unlock gates. But then you hit your first puzzle, and suddenly it’s not just about dodging enemies anymore.
The art’s got that classic Game Boy charm—everything’s a little blocky, but the way the seaweed sways or a school of fish darts past actually feels alive. I remember getting stuck for way too long in this one cave with a broken bridge until I realized I could lure an eel over to use as a platform. Yeah, it’s that kind of game.
If you’ve got a soft spot for retro handheld games with a bit of mystery, this one’s a solid dive. Just watch out for the octopuses—they’re faster than they look.
