I picked up Water World for the Game Boy when it first came out, a title from THQ that landed during the system's crowded library of platformers and action games. The screen scrolls as you move, and you use a spear gun for combat, which requires careful aiming and timing. The pacing is deliberate; you can't rush, as managing your air supply is a constant concern. It feels like a slow, cautious struggle against the environment, where every new pocket of air is a small victory.
