Waialae Country Club on N64 is one of those golf sims that actually gets the feel right—no gimmicks, just solid mechanics and a surprisingly chill vibe. The Hawaiian course looks great for its time, with palm trees swaying and those signature N64 water effects that somehow still hold up. You’ll spend the first few holes figuring out the swing timing (it’s all about that meter precision), but once it clicks, you’re just… golfing. No power-ups, no crazy spin tricks—just you, the wind, and some brutally accurate greens.
It’s not flashy, but if you’re into methodical sports games where every shot matters, this one’s a hidden gem. I lost way too many evenings trying to shave one stroke off my best round.
