Waialae Country Club on N64 is one of those golf games that actually makes you feel like you're lining up a shot—wind, slope, and all. The Hawaiian course looks surprisingly good for an N64 title, with those signature palm trees swaying and ocean views in the distance. At first, I thought the swing mechanics were a little stiff, but after a few holes, you start appreciating how much control you actually have over spin and power.
It’s not just about smacking the ball—you’ll spend way too much time agonizing over club selection and whether to play it safe or go for the risky shot over the water. And yeah, the greens are brutal if you don’t read them right. Definitely one of the better golf sims from that era if you’re into the slower, more deliberate style.
