WWF War Zone on Game Boy was a weird little piece of wrestling history—it tried to bring that early 3D grappling chaos to a tiny screen. You get the full roster of late '90s WWF stars, but everything moves in this stiff, blocky way where punches look like someone swinging a loaf of bread. Still, there's something charming about how hard it tries to be the console version.
Picking Stone Cold and immediately spamming his stunner never gets old, even if the animation takes three business days to finish. The crowd chants are just garbled noise, but you can kinda make out "Austin! Austin!" if you squint. It's janky as hell, but if you were a kid with a Game Boy and a wrestling obsession, this was your only fix.
