WWF Superstars on Game Boy is one of those early wrestling games that feels rough around the edges but still kinda nails the vibe. It's not the arcade version—just a stripped-down portable take with LJN's name slapped on it. You pick from classic WWF wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Macho Man, then jump into simple but chaotic matches where timing a grapple feels like pure luck half the time.
The sprites are tiny, the moves are limited, and the AI cheats like crazy, but there's something weirdly charming about it. You'll probably lose your first match to some nonsense pin out of nowhere, then immediately rematch just to body slam someone out of spite. It's definitely not deep, but if you grew up with a Game Boy in your backpack, this was probably your go-to for pretending to be The Ultimate Warrior during math class.
