Vigilante 8 - 2nd Offense is basically car combat chaos cranked up to 11. You pick a ride—some are straight-up muscle cars, others look like they belong in a Mad Max movie—and then it's just pure destruction across wild maps like Area 51 or a neon-lit Vegas strip. The weapons are ridiculous in the best way: homing missiles, oil slicks, even a disco ball that makes enemies dance helplessly while you blast them.
What I love is how each vehicle actually handles differently—the school bus is a tank but turns like one too, while the hovercraft glides like it's on ice. And the secret characters? Unlocking them feels like a reward for causing enough mayhem. It’s one of those N64 gems where you’ll still catch yourself laughing when your buddy’s car goes flying off a cliff after a well-placed rocket hit.
If you played the first one, this is everything you liked but with more explosions and way weirder arenas.
