About Untouchables
Untouchables was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, though I don't recall the developer offhand. It came out during that period when movie licenses were common on the NES, and this one is based on the film about Eliot Ness.
You control Ness himself, moving through side-scrolling city levels to take down Al Capone's criminal empire. Your main goal is to fight through six stages, clearing areas of gangsters to reach the end. You start with a basic pistol but can pick up better weapons like a shotgun or a tommy gun, which changes your firing pattern and power. The levels are linear but filled with enemies that pop out from doors and windows, requiring quick reflexes. The game is quite difficult, with limited continues and enemies that respawn quickly. It feels like a constant, tense shootout where every corner could be your last.
