About Universal Soldier (usa, Europe)
Universal Soldier came out for the Game Boy in 1992, published by Accolade. It was part of that wave of games trying to bring action movie experiences to the small screen. You control Luc Deveraux, the character from the film, on a mission to stop a rogue Universal Soldier program.
You move through levels screen by screen, shooting enemies with your rifle and avoiding their fire. The main goal is to survive these combat zones and defeat the bosses at the end. You can pick up different weapon power-ups, like a spread gun, to help clear rooms. The game is quite fast and difficult, with enemies appearing quickly from all sides. It feels like a constant test of your reflexes and aim.
