Oh man, Uchuu no Kishi Tekkaman Blade on Game Boy—this one takes me back. It's a side-scrolling action game based on the anime, and honestly, it's tougher than it looks at first glance. You play as Tekkaman Blade, this armored space knight fighting off alien invaders, and the sprites actually do a decent job capturing the anime's style despite the Game Boy's limitations.
The controls are simple—run, jump, slash—but the enemies come at you fast, and some of those platforming sections get pretty tight. I remember getting stuck on this one boss that kept spamming projectiles until I figured out the timing. The music’s got that classic Game Boy chiptune energy too, all bleeps and bloops that somehow make slashing through aliens feel even cooler.
If you’re into retro anime games or just want a solid action-platformer with some challenge, this one’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
