Twisted Edge Snowboarding is one of those N64 snowboarding games that didn’t get as much hype as 1080°, but it’s got its own weird charm. The first thing you’ll notice is how floaty the jumps feel—like you’re weightless for a second before slamming back into the powder. The courses are all over the place, from tight forest runs to wide-open halfpipes, and the trick system is simple but satisfying once you get the timing down.
Graphics are decent for the era, with some nice snow effects, though the character models look a little blocky now. What I like is how chaotic the races can get—you’ll be jostling for position, clipping other riders, and wiping out spectacularly if you misjudge a landing. Not the most polished snowboarding sim, but it’s got personality. If you’re into late ‘90s extreme sports games, this one’s worth a few runs down the mountain.
