Man, Turok on N64 was something else. You start off in this dense jungle with a knife and a bow, and within minutes you're blasting raptors with a shotgun while jumping across crumbling platforms. The levels feel massive for an N64 game—you actually get lost sometimes, which I kinda loved.
The weapons are ridiculous in the best way. The cerebral bore? That thing drills into enemies' skulls while they scream. Graphics were mind-blowing back then, even if the fog makes everything look like it's hiding in soup now. And those boss fights against T-Rexes? Pure chaos.
It's janky by today's standards, but there's nothing quite like fragging dinosaurs with a quad rocket launcher while tribal drums pound in the background. Still holds up if you can handle the old-school controls.
